According to Master Changan Motors, the first shipment of 14 Oshan X7 vehicles was successfully exported to Kenya for resale in the Kenyan and Tanzanian markets. The first sample unit was additionally exported to a nation in the Oceania region last year.

The Oshan X7 would be the first SUV to be released in a worldwide market, making it the first firm to become Pakistan’s top exporter of technologically superior SUVs, the company stated in a statement.

– Ceremony in Karachi:

The CEO of Master Changan, Danial Malik, addressed the crowd at an export ceremony in Karachi by saying, “We are taking our next significant step to realise our ambition of integrating Master Changan into Changan’s global vehicle supply chain under the ‘Vast Ocean Plan,’ while putting Pakistan on the map for producing and exporting high-quality vehicles to the rest of the globe.

Master Changan Motors has a number of countries that we intend to establish a name for ourselves in as we seek to boost our export volumes, including Kenya and Tanzania.

At the 2023 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition earlier this year, on April 18, Mr. Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Changan Automobile, made a significant announcement by announcing the “Vast Ocean” plan, a plan to speed up the company’s international expansion and advance it towards becoming a world-class brand.

Changan Automobile plans to invest $10 billion in the global market with a product focus on intelligent low-carbon core technologies. By 2030, Changan wants to expand to 90% of the world’s markets by expanding its worldwide footprint to include Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and the CIS. Master Changan Pakistan will play a significant part in Changan’s ‘Vast Ocean’ goal to serve RHD markets internationally as the company’s RHD production hub.

According to the corporation, it aims to expand its global footprint to include Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and the CIS by 2030, and to participate in 90% of all markets worldwide. Master Changan Pakistan, the centre of Changan’s RHD manufacturing, will be crucial to the company’s ‘Vast Ocean’ strategy to serve RHD markets all over the world.

– State Policies:

The federal government’s initiatives to support and encourage the auto industry are entirely necessary for the export of “Made in Pakistan” automobiles. In order to achieve this goal, Pakistan’s automotive sector has already made measures to support the long-term viability of vehicle exports.

We truly appreciate our government’s vehicle export policy 2021–2026, Malik added. The government must, however, develop policies that boost local economies of scale, support deeper localization, and encourage manufacturers to raise their level of international competitiveness in order to assist the auto sector.

As the biggest SUV in its category, the Oshan X7 takes the lead. It has a 1.5L turbocharged engine that accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.23 seconds, and it averages 14 to 15 miles per gallon of fuel.

The Oshan X7 excels in features like ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), FW (Forward Collision Warning), along with heated and vented seats. It also boasts a modern style and opulent interior. It is n0=oteworthy that it stands out as the only car in its class to offer a flexible 5/7 seat layout, allowing adaptability to diverse preferences and demands.
