Sirius Tower, the tallest building in Punjab, will help attract both domestic and foreign investment to Lahore, Pakistan’s second most populous city.
The Sirius of Punjab, which rises 750 feet (228.6 metres) above Lahore, is part of the multibillion-dollar Central Business District (CBD) development. It is being built in three phases.
By introducing a variety of high-rise buildings for both business and residential use, the new Business District, Digital Valley, and Commercial & Residential District are established to generate enormous opportunities to reshape Pakistan’s future.
I firmly believe that projects like Sirius, the tallest skyscraper of Punjab, can prove to be a game-changer for the province’s economic development,” the chief operating officer of CBD Punjab, Mansoor Janjua, told the media.
Sirius, he claims, can create new job opportunities and promote sustainable growth by developing a Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit) or PPP model to draw foreign and domestic investment.
“Such mixed-use commercial buildings are beneficial not only for businesses but also for people from all walks of life,” Mansoor Janjua stated on the sidelines of the International Property Show held last week in Dubai.
A mixed-use development
Sirius spans 24 kanal and is the most profitable real estate investment with Pakistan’s highest-valued Reit. The mixed-use development, which is now in the planning stages, will take the duration of five years and is scheduled to open in 2028.
Moreover, Sirius is not only a city’s architectural identity but also provides citizens with a new realm as a vibrant city centre. According to CBD Punjab officials, this massive multi-story building will provide ample space for residence, restaurants, shopping, and work.
Meanwhile, the executive director (Commercial) at CBD Punjab, Mohammed Omer, said, “We are proud to be involved in the development of Sirius, the tallest skyscraper of Punjab. This mixed-use commercial building will be a prime example of utilising the Reit or PPP model to attract foreign and domestic investment for the region’s economic development,” further adding “Our team is committed to creating an iconic landmark that will transform the skyline and contribute to the growth of Punjab’s economy.”
