According to the report of Henley & Partners, released in the third week of July, the Pakistani Passport was ranked 101 – just above Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistani Passport holders can get visa-free access to 33 countries and if compared with India, the Indian Passport holders can get the visa-free access to 57 countries.

This is not the story of today rather the deteriorating political, economic and social condition of Pakistan started decades back. Pakistan is the country in which the democratic values could not strengthen, resulting the political, economic and social chaos. There are thousands of Pakistanis, prisoned in the jails of different countries of the world.

These prisoners have been found involved in different criminal activities. There is no appropriate institution in the country which may teach to foreign-going citizens how to behave there. Even the world hardly believes on the standards of our exportable merchandise.

All this brought the Pakistani passports at the fourth weakest position in the world. The UK-based citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley & Partners which ranks 199 countries tells the position of the fall of Pakistani passport.

Singapore’s passport ranks first which provides visa-free access to 192 countries and the passport holders of Germany, Italy and Spain which rank second are allowed the visa-free access to 190? countries. ?Since 2006, when the index was established, Pakistan’s ranking fell from 79th?to 101.

The situation is highly alarming. Pakistan needs to improve it. It should make a mechanism on all the fronts, establish strong ties with all the nations, strengthen its security and economic situation and sign agreements for free movements.

Moreover, there must be a strong mechanism which may let the people of Pakistan understand how to behave while dealing with the people of different countries. Not only common men but the citizens from all segments of the society need to be taught the sophisticated manners.
