Cda Approves Rs. 36.4 Billion For New Development Schemes In Islamabad

During the CDA Design Works Planning meeting, several important projects were discussed and approved to enhance the infrastructure and development of different sectors in Islamabad.

Chairman CDA Noor ul Amin Mengal chaired the meeting, which saw the participation of officers from the Planning Commission, CDA Board Members, and various officers from concerned formations. 

One of the significant projects discussed was Sector C-13, which is strategically located in one of the most beautiful areas of Islamabad. The PC-I (Project Concept-I) of Sector C-13, focusing on the construction of high-rise building apartments, was presented and approved during the meeting. 


The estimated cost for this project was determined to be Rs. 1078 million. This development will contribute to the growth and attractiveness of the sector, providing modern and upscale residential options to the residents of Islamabad. 


Furthermore, the meeting also gave approval to the PC-I for Sector D-13, which comprises 5468 plots. This sector is expected to provide housing solutions to a large number of residents. The estimated cost for the development of Sector D-13 was determined to be Rs. 10249 million. 


Additionally, the PC-I for Sector E-13 and Sector F-13 were approved during the meeting. Sector E-13 consists of 4034 plots, while Sector F-13 comprises 5342 plots. These projects will contribute to the expansion of residential areas in Islamabad, accommodating the growing population and providing modern amenities and facilities to the residents.


The estimated cost for Sector E-13 was determined to be Rs. 12676 million, and for Sector F-13, it was Rs. 1773 million. 


The meeting also discussed the development of Orchard Height Park, a project aimed at enhancing recreational spaces and green areas in Islamabad. The construction cost for this park was estimated at Rs. 107 million, and the PC-I for the project was approved.
