Noor ul Amin Mengal, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), declared that the Islamabad Motorway project from PWD to Korang will be completed by the end of June this year.

He stated that the project would continue to T-Chowk and would be completed by early next year. Mengal expressed his apology for the trouble brought to the people throughout the construction period.

CDA chief added that individuals travelling to Kashmir, Galiyath, or Murri, would soon be able to do there in less than five minutes by travelling via Barakahu.

He also noted that the most difficult portion of the project had been completed successfully.

The completion of the Islamabad Motorway project is expected to bring major respite to commuters travelling from PWD to T-Chowk, and also to those travelling to Pakistan’s northern territories.

The project is projected to promote economic activity in the area and improve the general quality of life for Islamabad residents due to the anticipated reduction in commute time.

The statement by the CDA chairman has received great feedback from the public, who has been eagerly awaiting the project’s completion.

The completion of the project is also expected to have a significant impact on the local real estate market, with many real estate professionals forecasting a boom in demand for properties
