حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ لَقِيَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَرِيقٍ مِنْ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَانْسَلَّ، فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ قَالَ: أَيْنَ كُنْتَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقِيتَنِي وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُجَالِسَكَ حَتَّى أَغْتَسِلَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: الْمُؤْمِنُ لَا يَنْجُسُ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ جنبی تھے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینے کے کسی راستے میں انہیں ملے، تو وہ چپکے سے نکل لیے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو غائب پایا، جب وہ آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ابوہریرہ! تم کہاں تھے؟ ، کہا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ سے ملاقات کے وقت میں جنبی تھا، اور بغیر غسل کئے آپ کی محفل میں بیٹھنا مجھے اچھا نہیں لگا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مومن ناپاک نہیں ہوتا ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that : Abu Hurairah was met by the Prophet in one of the streets of Al-Madinah when he was in a state of sexual impurity, so he slipped away. The Prophet missed him, so when he came (later on), he said: 'Where were you O Abu Hurairah?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you met me when I was in a state of sexual impurity, and I did not want to sit with you until I had a bath. The Messenger of Allah said: 'The believer does not become impure.'
