حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْهُذَلِيِّ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى هُوَ عِنْدَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيُّ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي، وَمُحَمَّدًا، وَلَا تُشْرِكْ فِي رَحْمَتِكَ إِيَّانَا أَحَدًا، فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ حَظَرْتَ وَاسِعًا وَيْحَكَ، أَوْ وَيْلَكَ ، قَالَ: فَشَجَ يَبُولُ، فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَهْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: دَعُوهُ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِسَجْلٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِ .
واثلہ بن اسقع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک اعرابی ( دیہاتی ) نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور کہنے لگا: اے اللہ مجھ پر اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر رحم فرما، اور ہمارے ساتھ اپنی رحمت میں کسی کو شریک نہ کر، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم نے ایک کشادہ چیز کو تنگ کر دیا، افسوس ہے تم پر یا تمہارے لیے خرابی ہے ، واثلہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: وہ پاؤں پھیلا کر پیشاب کرنے لگا، صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے کہا: رکو، رکو، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسے چھوڑ دو ( پیشاب کر لینے دو ) ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ڈول پانی منگایا اور اس پر بہا دیا ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Wathilah bin Asqa' said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet and said: 'O Allah, have mercy on me and Muhammed, and do not allow anyone else to share in your Mercy.' The Prophet said: 'You have placed restrictions on something that is vast, woe to you!' Then he (the Bedouin) spread his legs and urinated, and the Companions of the Prophet told him to stop, but the Messenger of Allah said: 'Let him be,' then he called for a vessel of water and poured it over (the urine).
