انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص نے اچھی طرح وضو کیا، پھر تین مرتبہ «أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله» میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے بندے، اور اس کے رسول ہیں کہا، تو اس کے لیے جنت کے آٹھوں دروازے کھول دئیے جائیں گے وہ جس دروازہ سے چاہے داخل ہو ۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that : The Prophet said: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then says three times: 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger),' eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him; whichever one he wants he may enter.
