حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَارِجَةُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُتَيِّ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ لِلْوُضُوءِ شَيْطَانًا يُقَالُ لَهُ: وَلَهَانُ، فَاتَّقُوا وَسْوَاسَ الْمَاءِ .
ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وضو میں وسوسہ ڈالنے کے کام کے لیے ایک شیطان ہے جس کو ولہان کہا جاتا ہے، لہٰذا تم پانی کے وسوسوں سے بچو ۔
It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is a devil for ablution who is called Walahan, so be on guard against the insinuating thoughts (Waswas) about water.'
