حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، أخبرنا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وَهْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ وَأَئِمَّةٌ مِنْ بَعْدِي يَسْتَأْثِرُونَ بِهَذَا الْفَيْءِ ؟، قُلْتُ: إِذَنْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ أَضَعُ سَيْفِي عَلَى عَاتِقِي، ثُمَّ أَضْرِبُ بِهِ، حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ، أَوْ أَلْحَقَكَ، قَالَ: أَوَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى خَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، تَصْبِرُ حَتَّى تَلْقَانِي .
ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہارا کیا حال ہو گا ۱؎ جب میرے بعد حکمراں اس مال فے کو اپنے لیے مخصوص کر لیں گے میں نے عرض کیا: تب تو اس ذات کی قسم، جس نے آپ کو حق کے ساتھ بھیجا ہے، میں اپنی تلوار اپنے کندھے پر رکھوں گا، پھر اس سے ان کے ساتھ لڑوں گا یہاں تک کہ میں آپ سے ملاقات کروں یا آ ملوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بہتر چیز نہ بتاؤں؟ تم صبر کرنا یہاں تک کہ تم مجھ سے آ ملو ۔
Abu Dharr reported the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: How will you deal with the rulers (imams) who appropriate to themselves this booty? I said: I swear by him who sent you with the truth that at that time I shall put my sword on my shoulder and smite with it till I meet you, or I join you. He said: shall I not guide you to something better than that? You must show endurance till you meet me.

There remains no vein and no joint but it penetrates it. ”

Abdullah bin Ka;b bin Malik who used to lead his father from among his sons when he became blind, said: I heard Kaab bin Malik say: The transmitter Ibn al-sarh then narrated the story of his remaining behind from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade the Muslims to speak to any of us three. When ( in this state) abundant time passed on me, I ascended the wall of the garden of Abu Qatadah who was my cousin. I saluted him, but, I swear by Allah, he did not return salute to me. He then narrated the story of the revelation of the Quranic verses relating to his repentance.
