حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: الْوَائِدَةُ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي النَّارِ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا: قَالَ أَبِي، فَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاق أَنَّ عَامِرًا حَدَّثَهُ بِذَلِكَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
عامر شعبی کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «وائدہ» ( زندہ درگور کرنے والی ) اور «مؤودہ» ( زندہ درگور کی گئی دونوں ) جہنم میں ہیں ۱؎۔ یحییٰ بن زکریا کہتے ہیں: میرے والد نے کہا: مجھ سے ابواسحاق نے بیان کیا ہے کہ عامر شعبی نے ان سے اسے بیان کیا ہے، وہ علقمہ سے اور علقمہ، ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور ابن مسعود نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔
Amir reported the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: The woman who buries alive her new-born girl and the girl who is buried alive both will go to Hell. This tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn Masud from the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to the same effect through a different chain of narrators.

Abdullah bin Ka;b bin Malik who used to lead his father from among his sons when he became blind, said: I heard Kaab bin Malik say: The transmitter Ibn al-sarh then narrated the story of his remaining behind from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade the Muslims to speak to any of us three. When ( in this state) abundant time passed on me, I ascended the wall of the garden of Abu Qatadah who was my cousin. I saluted him, but, I swear by Allah, he did not return salute to me. He then narrated the story of the revelation of the Quranic verses relating to his repentance.
