حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّجْمَ فَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ فِيهَا .
زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سورۃ النجم پڑھ کر سنائی تو آپ نے اس میں سجدہ نہیں کیا۔
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم did not make prostration at any verse in al-Mufassal from the time he moved to Madina.

Narrated Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم taught me fifteen prostrations while reciting the Quran, including three in al-Mufassal and two in Surah al-Hajj.
