حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: رَأَيْتُهُ بِمَكَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُدَامَةَ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْعِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ الْمُفَصَّلِ مُنْذُ تَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ .
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ مکہ سے مدینہ آ جانے کے بعد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مفصل ( سورتوں ) میں سے کسی سورۃ میں سجدہ نہیں کیا ۱؎۔
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم did not make a prostration at any verse in al-Mufassal from the time he moved to Madina.

Narrated Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم taught me fifteen prostrations while reciting the Quran, including three in al-Mufassal and two in Surah al-Hajj.
