وَزَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْلَهُ : حَوْضُهُ مَا بَيْنَ صَنْعَاءَ ، وَالْمَدِينَةِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدُ : أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْهُ ، قَالَ الْأَوَانِي : قَالَ : لَا ، قَالَ الْمُسْتَوْرِدُ : تُرَى فِيهِ الْآنِيَةُ مِثْلَ الْكَوَاكِبِ .

اور ابن ابوعدی محمد بن ابراہیم نے بھی شعبہ سے روایت کیا، ان سے معبد بن خالد نے اور ان سے حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ ارشاد سنا، اس میں اتنا زیادہ ہے کہ آپ کا حوض اتنا لمبا ہو گا جتنی صنعاء اور مدینہ کے درمیان دوری ہے۔ اس پر مستورد نے کہا: کیا آپ نے برتنوں والی روایت نہیں سنی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں۔ مستورد نے کہا کہ کہ اس میں برتن ( پینے کے ) اس طرح نظر آئیں گے جس طرح آسمان میں ستارے نظر آتے ہیں۔

Haritha said that he heard the Prophet saying that his Lake-Fount would be as large as the distance between Sana' and Medina. Al- Mustaurid said to Haritha, Didn't you hear him talking about the vessels? He said, No. Al- Mustaurid said, The vessels are seen in it as (numberless as) the stars.

Hadith 6416

Narrated Mujahid: `Abdullah bin `Umar said, Allah's Apostle took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.
