حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ : الصِّحَّةُ ، وَالْفَرَاغُ ، قَالَ عَبَّاسٌ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .

ہم سے مکی بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن سعید نے خبر دی، وہ ابوہند کے صاحب زادے ہیں، انہیں ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”دو نعمتیں ایسی ہیں کہ اکثر لوگ ان کی قدر نہیں کرتے، صحت اور فراغت۔“ عباس عنبری نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے صفوان بن عیسیٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن ابی ہند نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی حدیث کی طرح۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time for doing good.

Narrated Sahl: I heard the Prophet saying, A (small) place equal to an area occupied by a whip in Paradise is better than the (whole) world and whatever is in it; and an undertaking (journey) in the forenoon or in the afternoon for Allah's Cause, is better than the whole world and whatever is in it.

Hadith 6416

Narrated Mujahid: `Abdullah bin `Umar said, Allah's Apostle took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.
