حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى عَلَى أَهْلِ أُحُدٍ صَلَاتَهُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ وَأَنَا شَهِيدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ، وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْظُرُ إِلَى حَوْضِي الْآنَ ، وَإِنِّي أُعْطِيتُ مَفَاتِيحَ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ ، أَوْ مَفَاتِيحَ الْأَرْضِ ، وَإِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بَعْدِي ، وَلَكِنْ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَنَافَسُوا فِيهَا .
ہم سے عمرو بن خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث نے بیان کیا، ان سے یزید نے، ان سے ابوالخیر مرثد بن عبداللہ نے اور ان سے عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے اور شہداء احد کے لیے اس طرح دعا کی جس طرح میت کے لیے جنازہ میں دعا کی جاتی ہے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر تشریف لائے اور فرمایا ”لوگو! میں تم سے آگے جاؤں گا اور تم پر گواہ رہوں گا اور میں واللہ اپنے حوض کی طرف اس وقت بھی دیکھ رہا ہوں اور مجھے زمین کے خزانوں کی کنجیاں دی گئی ہیں یا فرمایا کہ زمین کی کنجیاں دی گئی ہیں۔ اللہ کی قسم! میں تمہارے بارے میں اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتا کہ تم میرے بعد شرک کرو گے، البتہ اس سے ڈرتا ہوں کہ تم دنیا کے لالچ میں پڑ کر ایک دوسرے سے حسد کرنے لگو گے۔
Narrated `Uqba bin 'Amir: Once the Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayers for the martyrs of Uhud, and then went to the pulpit and said, I am a predecessor for you and I am a witness for you: and by Allah, I am looking at my Fount just now, and the keys of the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth) have been given to me: and by Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, but I am afraid that you will strive and struggle against each other over these treasures of the world.
