حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنِّي فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ مَنْ مَرَّ عَلَيَّ شَرِبَ ، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ لَمْ يَظْمَأْ أَبَدًا ، لَيَرِدَنَّ عَلَيَّ أَقْوَامٌ أَعْرِفُهُمْ وَيَعْرِفُونِي ، ثُمَّ يُحَالُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ ،
ہم سے سعید بن ابومریم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے محمد بن مطرف نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوحازم نے، ان سے سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میں اپنے حوض کوثر پر تم سے پہلے موجود رہوں گا۔ جو شخص بھی میری طرف سے گزرے گا وہ اس کا پانی پئے گا اور جو اس کا پانی پئے گا وہ پھر کبھی پیاسا نہیں ہو گا اور وہاں کچھ ایسے لوگ بھی آئیں گے جنہیں میں پہچانوں گا اور وہ مجھے پہچانیں گے لیکن پھر انہیں میرے سامنے سے ہٹا دیا جائے گا۔“
Narrated Abu Hazim from Sahl bin Sa`d: The Prophet said, I am your predecessor (forerunner) at the Lake-Fount, and whoever will pass by there, he will drink from it and whoever will drink from it, he will never be thirsty. There will come to me some people whom I will recognize, and they will recognize me, but a barrier will be placed between me and them.
