حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَيَرِدَنَّ عَلَيَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي الْحَوْضَ حَتَّى عَرَفْتُهُمُ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي ، فَأَقُولُ : أَصْحَابِي ، فَيَقُولُ : لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ .

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہیب بن خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالعزیز نے بیان کیا، ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میرے کچھ ساتھی حوض پر میرے سامنے لائے جائیں گے اور میں انہیں پہچان لوں گا لیکن پھر وہ میرے سامنے سے ہٹا دئیے جائیں گے۔ میں اس پر کہوں گا کہ یہ تو میرے ساتھی ہیں۔ لیکن مجھ سے کہا جائے گا کہ آپ کو معلوم نہیں کہ انہوں نے آپ کے بعد کیا کیا نئی چیزیں ایجاد کر لی تھیں۔“

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, Some of my companions will come to me at my Lake Fount, and after I recognize them, they will then be taken away from me, whereupon I will say, 'My companions!' Then it will be said, 'You do not know what they innovated (new things) in the religion after you.

Hadith 6416

Narrated Mujahid: `Abdullah bin `Umar said, Allah's Apostle took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.
