حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، إِذَا أَنَا بِنَهَرٍ حَافَتَاهُ قِبَابُ الدُّرِّ الْمُجَوَّفِ ، قُلْتُ : مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ ؟ قَالَ : هَذَا الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ ، فَإِذَا طِينُهُ أَوْ طِيبُهُ مِسْكٌ أَذْفَرُ ، شَكَّ هُدْبَةُ .

ہم سے ابوالولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمام نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے، ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (دوسری سند) اور ہم سے ہدبہ بن خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمام نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے انس بن مالک نے بیان کیا   اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیان کیا کہ میں جنت میں چل رہا تھا کہ میں ایک نہر پر پہنچا اس کے دونوں کناروں پر خولدار موتیوں کے گنبد بنے ہوئے تھے۔ میں نے پوچھا: جبرائیل! یہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا یہ کوثر ہے جو آپ کے رب نے آپ کو دیا ہے۔ میں نے دیکھا کہ اس کی خوشبو یا مٹی تیز مشک جیسی تھی۔ راوی ہدبہ کو شک تھا۔

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said: While I was walking in Paradise (on the night of Mi'raj), I saw a river, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls. I asked, What is this, O Gabriel?' He said, 'That is the Kauthar which Your Lord has given to you.' Behold! Its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk! (The sub-narrator, Hudba is in doubt as to the correct expression. )

Hadith 6416

Narrated Mujahid: `Abdullah bin `Umar said, Allah's Apostle took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler. The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.
