وحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ وَلَيُرْفَعَنَّ مَعِي رِجَالٌ مِنْكُمْ ، ثُمَّ لَيُخْتَلَجُنَّ دُونِي ، فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ : أَصْحَابِي ، فَيُقَالُ : إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ ، تَابَعَهُ عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، وَقَالَ حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
(دوسری سند) اور مجھ سے عمرو بن علی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے محمد بن جعفر نے، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے، ان سے مغیرہ نے، کہا کہ میں نے ابووائل سے سنا اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں اپنے حوض پر تم سے پہلے ہی موجود رہوں گا اور تم میں سے کچھ لوگ میرے سامنے لائے جائیں گے پھر انہیں میرے سامنے سے ہٹا دیا جائے گا تو میں کہوں گا کہ اے میرے رب! یہ میرے ساتھی ہیں لیکن مجھ سے کہا جائے گا کہ آپ نہیں جانتے کہ انہوں نے آپ کے بعد دین میں کیا کیا نئی چیزیں ایجاد کر لی تھیں۔ اس روایت کی متابعت عاصم نے ابووائل سے کی، ان سے حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیان فرمایا۔
`Abdullah added: The Prophet said, I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount, and some of you will be brought in front of me till I will see them and then they will be taken away from me and I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what they did after you had left.'
