حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ ، وَلَنْ يَمْلَأَ فَاهُ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ .
ہم سے عبدالعزیز بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابراہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے صالح نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے کہ مجھے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی اور ان سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر انسان کے پاس سونے کی ایک وادی ہو تو وہ چاہے گا کہ دو ہو جائیں اور اس کا منہ قبر کی مٹی کے سوا اور کوئی چیز نہیں بھر سکتی اور اللہ اس کی توبہ قبول کرتا ہے جو توبہ کرے۔“
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, If Adam's son had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys, for nothing fills his mouth except dust. And Allah forgives him who repents to Him.
