حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَليُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ ، فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ .
ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھے محمد بن زیاد نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا اور انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہ جب کسی کا غلام کھانا لائے اور وہ اسے اپنے ساتھ ( کھلانے کے لیے ) نہ بٹھا سکے تو اسے ایک یا دو نوالے ضرور کھلا دے یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «لقمة أو لقمتين» کے بدل «أكلة أو أكلتين» فرمایا ( یعنی ایک یا دو لقمے ) کیونکہ اسی نے اس کو تیار کرنے کی تکلیف اٹھائی ہے۔
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, When your servant brings your meals to you then if he does not let him sit and share the meals, then he should at least give him a mouthful or two mouthfuls of that meal or a meal or two meals, as he has prepared it.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Whoever frees a Muslim slave, Allah will save all the parts of his body from the (Hell) Fire as he has freed the body-parts of the slave. He said, Refrain from harming others for this will be regarded as a charitable deed for your own good.
