حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَتْ : أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ . تَابَعَهُ عَلِيٌّ ، عَنِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ .
ہم سے موسیٰ بن مسعود نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے زائدۃ بن قدامہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے فاطمہ بن منذر نے اور ان سے اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سورج گرہن کے وقت غلام آزاد کرنے کا حکم فرمایا ہے۔ موسیٰ کے ساتھ اس حدیث کو علی بن مدینی نے بھی عبدالعزیز دراوردی سے روایت کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے ہشام سے۔
Narrated Asma' bint Abu Bakr: The Prophet ordered us to free slaves at the time of solar eclipses.

Hadith 2517
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Whoever frees a Muslim slave, Allah will save all the parts of his body from the (Hell) Fire as he has freed the body-parts of the slave. Sa`id bin Marjana said that he narrated that Hadith to `Ali bin Al-Husain and he freed his slave for whom `Abdullah bin Ja`far had offered him ten thousand Dirhams or one-thousand Dinars.

He said, Help the weak or do good for a person who cannot work for himself. I said, If I cannot do that? He said, Refrain from harming others for this will be regarded as a charitable deed for your own good.
