حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ ؟ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا .
زید بن خالد جہنی رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا میں تمہیں سب سے اچھے گواہ کے بارے میں نہ بتا دوں؟ سب سے اچھا گواہ وہ آدمی ہے جو گواہی طلب کیے جانے سے پہلے گواہی دے“ ۱؎۔
Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Shall l not inform you of the best of witnesses? The one who comes with his testimony before being asked for it.
