The revised layout plan for the LDA Avenue-1 Housing Scheme has been approved by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
The authority has invited citizens to submit their reservations about the revised plan’s approval within 15 days of its publication. The revised layout plan was previously approved by the LDA governing body at a meeting on November 11, 2022.
Sources reported that roads, commercial areas, parks, and other amenities are among the new features and accessories included in the new plan. The housing scheme will cover an area of 15795.83 Kanal and spread across Mouza Bhopatian, Jaliana, Chung Panjrai, and Musala Raiwind Road in Lahore.
The LDA’s governing body has approved the addition of the following accessories and features to the new layout plan:

There will be dedicated land for the graveyard, public buildings, parks/open spaces, roads, and residential and commercial plots, all within the scheme’s original parameters.

New plots have been created due to negotiations with litigants to address affectees‘ grievances.

The Civic Center of LDA Avenue-1 has been redesigned following market trends to capitalise on the full potential of the designated area.

The scheme has identified new petrol pump locations on major roads.

In the extra land, commercial plots have been included in the scheme.

Parking space is added to the existing LDA office building at the proposed civic centre.

Additional areas and landmarks have been surveyed using cutting-edge technology and drones.
The LDA has revised the layout plan for the LDA Avenue-1 Housing Scheme several times. The original plan was approved in 2009, but it was revised in 2016 and 2017 to address residents’ concerns and incorporate their suggestions.
