Shehroze Kashif, a Pakistani mountaineer, has been recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records 2023 for climbing K2 and Everest.

In 2021, 19-year-old Kashif, also known as Broad Boy, conquered the world’s two tallest mountains, Everest (8,849 metres) and K2 (8,611 metres).

It should be noted that Kashif was also included in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2021.

“Alhumdulilah! “I have been listed in the Guinness World Records 2023,” Kashif tweeted, adding, “My achievement of being the youngest person in the world to summit Everest and K2 has been recognized. Thank you to my family, followers, and #GWR #TheKarakoramclub for your support.”

Last year, the 19-year-old climber set a record by conquering the 8,080 meters Gasherbrum-1, the world’s 11th tallest mountain.

The mountaineer’s father, Kashif Salman, asserted that Shehroze had reached the summit.

The climber has climbed all five of Pakistan’s eight-thousanders. He broke Britain’s Adriana Brownlee’s record for being the youngest climber to accomplish the feat just 12 days after she did.

In July 2021, he became the world’s youngest mountaineer to reach the summit of K2, the world’s second-highest peak.

Shehroze, a Lahore resident, accomplished this amazing feat just two months after becoming the world’s youngest climber to summit Mount Everest as part of the SST Expedition 2021.

Moreover, he began climbing at the age of 11 and reached the summit of Makra Peak (3,885 meters). Following that, at the age of 12, he conquered Musa ka Massalah (4,080 meters), as well as Chembra Peak (4,600 meters).

Minglik Sar Shimshal (6,050 meters) was reached at the age of 13, K2 Gondogoro La K2 Base Camp (5,585 meters) at the age of 14, and Khurdopin Pass (5,890 meters) at the age of 15.
