The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has unveiled its strategy to kickstart the possession process for plots in Block C of LDA City’s Jinnah Sector during the initial week of December.
This significant announcement transpired during a meeting presided over by Commissioner Lahore and LDA Director General (DG) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on a Saturday. In his capacity, the commissioner directed officials to establish a one-window service on-site, designed to facilitate the swift processing of payments for land acquisition in LDA City. Commissioner Randhawa expressed optimism about the positive impact of this one-window system on the residents of LDA City, aiming to streamline procedures for their benefit.
Furthermore, the commissioner mandated the officials to formulate an action plan delineating the current status of ongoing development projects within LDA City. Emphasizing the need for regular progress reviews, he requested a comprehensive performance report from the officers overseeing LDA City.
The meeting delved into a meticulous examination of the preparations for obtaining possession of Block C. A detailed presentation shed light on the progress made in construction, the installation of street lights, placement of signboards, and advancements on the roads. It was emphasized that the developmental initiatives in LDA City were being accelerated to ensure timely completion.
Additional Commissioner Usman Ghani, Additional DG UP Khalid Guraya, Project Director, Director Finance, Director LAC, and the LDA City team were in attendance at the meeting. Their collective presence underscored the importance attached to the successful execution of plans related to the possession process in Block C.
This announcement reflects the commitment of the LDA to not only advance the development projects within LDA City and ensure that the residents experience a seamless and efficient process in acquiring possession of their plots.
