The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi (DHAI-R) has?recently announced new and attractive business opportunities in Central Park and Jacaranda Parking, both located in Phase II.

This move seeks to draw in both national and international brands to establish offices in prime locations, benefiting from constant foot traffic in the twin cities while working alongside leading brands.

The available space, according to DHAI-R, is ideal for businesses looking to improve their prospects and attract more clients. McDonald’s, KFC, Burning Brownie, Pizza Hut, Layers Bakeshop, and Wild Wings are among the famous restaurants in Central Park.

The size of plots available in both areas, however, has not yet been disclosed by the authority. Sources reported that businesses intent on reserving space in either location can call the DHAI-R help desk at 051-111-555-400 Extn 1220.

Moreover, Central Park and Jacaranda Parking’s new business opportunities are expected to attract a large number of local and international brands.

This move is likely to boost the economy in the twin cities by creating jobs and encouraging a healthy competitive market among businesses.

In addition, after a seven-year break, the Capital Development Authority?restarted development work in Sector C-15 on a “priority basis.” The civic body began work to establish the sector last year, but it was quickly halted. But,?the CDA management now intends to prioritise sector development.

In this regard, Chairman of CDA Noorul Amin Mengal stated that development work has resumed after a seven-year break, and every effort will be made to develop the sector and grant allottees land as soon as possible.

The CDA acquired the sector in 2008 using a land-sharing formula, and the residents were given developed plots of one kanal as opposed to four kanals.

At least 504 people were declared suitable for the 2016 built-up property (BuP) award. After providing the necessary information, 167 were placed on the A-list, while 337 were placed on the B-list.

On the other hand,?a small portion of land in this sector, Dhoke Ashraf, has yet to be acquired.
