Cda To Construct Sports Enclave And Restore Ancient Trails In Shah Allah Ditta

The Capital Development Authority (CDA)?plans to build a Sports Enclave in the Shah Allah Ditta neighbourhood. 

The CDA chairman, while issuing directions in this respect, stated that the Sports Enclave will be a multi-purpose sports centre with facilities like as rock climbing, zip line, volleyball,?cricket, and so on. 


Noorul Amin Mengal, Chairman of the CDA, paid visits to Shah Allah Ditta, Margalla Avenue, and Sectors C-13, C-14, C-15, and C-16. He was accompanied by the authority’s members Estate, Environment, Engineering, and Planning, as well as other top officers. 


It is important to note that this stadium is going to be built on 300 kanals of CDA property. The CDA has allocated the property for the promotion of environmentally friendly and healthy activities. 


Moreover, the CDA chairman directed that PC-I be prepared as soon as possible and submitted for approval. 

He further stated that the old Alexander the Great road from Shah Allah Ditta to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will be rebuilt and repaired within the confines of ICT. He also gave orders to revitalise and restore Trail 8 from the Buddha Caves to the Buddha Stupa. 


During his visit, the chairman examined the status of the development projects. 

He chastised the police for failing to complete the construction of a 50-foot road at the intersection of Margalla Avenue and Sector D-12. He gave the order to finish the road in three days. He also stated that instead of chopping trees along the project’s path, they should be relocated.
