For improved employment opportunities for Pakistani workers abroad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the relevant authorities to form Pakistan Skill Company.
He also gave instructions to unify technical and vocational education across the country while presiding over a sectoral briefing about NAVTTC and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development in Islamabad. He oversaw the Pakistan Skill Development Fund’s quick creation as well.
In order to guarantee that young workers receive top-notch technical and vocational training, the prime minister stated that NAVTTC should be further activated. In every technical discipline, globally recognised and international certifications ought to be guaranteed.
In order to develop Pakistani labour in accordance with international norms, Shehbaz Sharif underlined the significance of increased collaboration between federal institutions and the provinces.
He also emphasised the need for the creation of an integrated regulatory framework under the proposed Pakistan Skill Company. Plans for technical and vocational training should be carried out in accordance with international norms.
The prime minister demanded that a centralised, well-organized database of Pakistani labour be established.

Shehbaz Sharif oversaw changes to the licencing requirements for businesses hiring Pakistani workers overseas in technical and vocational fields.
The premier stated that quality and openness should be given particular weight when appointing community welfare attachés to Pakistani embassies.
In addition, Shehbaz Sharif oversaw the establishment of a committee to overhaul the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development as well as the NAVTTC.
The meeting was informed that sixty thousand persons will receive technical training from NAVTTC this year.
After the adoption of reforms, it was informed that 600,000 people would receive technical and vocational training over the next three years.
