The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken a significant step by committing to award Built-Up Properties (BUPs) for constructed properties in Sector C-16 within two months.

This decision was reached after a productive meeting between CDA officials and local landowners, led by former Member of the National Assembly, Anjum Aqeel Khan. The initiative aims to distribute BUPs to eligible residents in Sector C-16 on a first-come, first-served basis, with the award announcements scheduled within the next two months. In exchange for land acquisition, the CDA plans to provide plots to the affected individuals, ensuring a smooth and timely process.

The commitment to award BUPs in Sector C-16 marks a pivotal moment in addressing the needs of local residents and landowners while supporting ongoing development work in the area. The decision reflects a collaborative approach between the CDA and the affected parties, ensuring that the interests of both sides are taken into consideration.

Under this initiative, eligible residents in Sector C-16 will have the opportunity to receive BUPs based on a first-come, first-served basis. This approach aims to ensure fairness in the distribution process, allowing those who meet the eligibility criteria to benefit from the award of built-up properties.

As part of the agreement, residents have pledged not to interfere with the ongoing development work in Sector C-16. This commitment to non-interference is essential to maintain the progress of development projects while addressing the needs of the local community. It signifies a balanced approach that acknowledges the importance of infrastructure development and the rights of residents.

The CDA is set to expedite the process by promptly conducting surveys and measurements of the houses. This step will help streamline the distribution of BUPs and ensure that the process is carried out efficiently and accurately. Residents can expect a transparent and organized procedure for receiving their built-up properties.
