حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسِتُّونَ، أَوْ سَبْعُونَ بَابًا، أَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَأَرْفَعُهَا قَوْلُ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ .
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایمان کے ساٹھ یا ستر سے زائد شعبے ( شاخیں ) ہیں، ان میں سے ادنی ( سب سے چھوٹا ) شعبہ ۱؎ تکلیف دہ چیز کو راستے سے ہٹانا ہے، اور سب سے اعلیٰ اور بہتر شعبہ «لا إله إلا الله» اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں کہنا ہے، اور شرم و حیاء ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے ۲؎۔
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Faith has sixty-some or seventy parts, the least of which is to remove a harmful thing from the road and the greatest of which is to say La ilaha illalah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah). And modesty is a branch of faith.' Another chain from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording.

By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
