Tribulations

عمرو بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قیامت اس وقت تک قائم نہیں ہو سکتی جب تک مسلمانوں کا نزدیک ترین مورچہ مقام بولاء میں نہ ہو ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے علی! اے علی! اے علی! انہوں نے عرض کیا: میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں ( فرمائیے ) ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم بہت جلد بنی اصفر ( اہل روم ) سے جنگ کرو گے اور ان سے وہ مسلمان بھی لڑیں گے جو تمہارے بعد پیدا ہوں گے، یہاں تک کہ جو لوگ اسلام کی رونق ہوں گے ( یعنی اہل حجاز ) وہ بھی ان سے جنگ کے لیے نکلیں گے، اور اللہ کے معاملہ میں کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت کا خوف نہ کریں گے، بلکہ تسبیح و تکبیر کے ذریعہ قسطنطنیہ فتح کر لیں گے، اور انہیں ( وہاں ) اس قدر مال غنیمت حاصل ہو گا کہ اتنا کبھی حاصل نہ ہوا تھا، یہاں تک کہ وہ ڈھا لیں بھربھر کر تقسیم کریں گے، اور ایک آنے والا آ کر کہے گا: مسیح ( دجال ) تمہارے ملک میں ظاہر ہو گیا ہے، سن لو! یہ خبر جھوٹی ہو گی، تو مال لینے والا بھی شرمندہ ہو گا، اور نہ لینے والا بھی ۔

It was narrated from Kathir bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin ‘Awf, from his father, that his grandfather said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The Hour will not begin until the closest Muslim outpost will be at Baula’.’ Then he said: ‘O ‘Ali, O ‘Ali, O ‘Ali.’ He (‘Ali) said: ‘May my father and mother be ransomed for you.’ He said: ‘You will fight Banu Asfar (the Romans) and those who come after you will fight them, until the best of the Muslims go out to fight them, the people of Hijaz who do not fear the blame of anyone for the sake of Allah. They will conquer Constantinople with Tasbih and Takbir and will acquire such spoils of war as has never been seen before, which they will distribute by the shieldful. Someone will come and say: “Masih has appeared in your land!” But he will be lying, so the one who takes (some of the spoils) will regret it, and the one who leaves it behind will regret it too.’”
