حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّدُوسِيِّ،، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيَنْحَنِي بَعْضُنَا لِبَعْضٍ؟ قَالَ: لَا ، قُلْنَا: أَيُعَانِقُ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا؟ قَالَ: لَا وَلَكِنْ تَصَافَحُوا .
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا ( ملاقات کے وقت ) ہم ایک دوسرے سے جھک کر ملیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں ، پھر ہم نے عرض کیا: کیا ہم ایک دوسرے سے معانقہ کریں ( گلے ملیں ) ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، بلکہ مصافحہ کیا کرو ( ہاتھ سے ہاتھ ملاؤ ) ۔
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we bow to one another? He said: No. We said: Should we embrace one another? He said: No, but shake hands with one another.
