حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّعَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لَهَا: إِنَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ ، قَالَتْ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: جبرائیل علیہ السلام تمہیں سلام کہتے ہیں ( یہ سن کر ) انہوں نے جواب میں کہا: «وعليه السلام ورحمة الله» ( اور ان پر بھی سلامتی اور اللہ کی رحمت ہو ) ۔
It was narrated from Abu Salamah that 'Aishah told him that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said to her: Jibrail send (greetings of) Salam to you. She said: Wa 'alahisalam wa rahmatullah (and upon him be peace and mercy of Allah).
