حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا،‏‏‏‏ وَلَنَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ .

حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( مردوں کے لیے ) ریشم اور سونا پہننے سے منع کیا، اور فرمایا: یہ ان ( کافروں ) کے لیے دنیا میں ہے اور ہمارے لیے آخرت میں ہے ۔

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade wearing silk and gold. He said: ‘They are for them in this world and for us in the Hereafter.’”
