حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي الْفُرَاتِ الْإِسْكَافِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: مَا أَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى خِوَانٍ، وَلَا فِي سُكُرُّجَةٍ، قَالَ: فَعَلَامَ كَانُوا يَأْكُلُونَ؟ قَالَ: عَلَى السُّفَرِ .
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خوان ( میز ) پر کبھی نہیں کھایا، اور نہ «سکرجہ» ( چھوٹی طشتری ) ۱؎ میں کھایا۔ قتادہ نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کس چیز پر کھاتے تھے؟ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: دستر خوان پر۔
It was narrated from Qatadah, that Anas bin Malik said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) never ate from a dish or from an individual plate.” He said: “From where did he eat?” He said: “From the dining sheet.”

Hadith 3251
‘Abdullah bin Salam said: “When the Prophet (ﷺ) came to Al-Madinah, the people rushed to meet him, and it was said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has come! The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has come! The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has come!’ Three times. I came with the people to see him, and when I saw his face clearly, I knew that his face was not the face of a liar. The first thing I heard him say was when he said: ‘O people!
