حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَرْمِي، قَالَ: إِذَا رَمَيْتَ، وَخَزَقْتَ فَكُلْ مَا خَزَقْتَ .
عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم تیر انداز لوگ ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تیر مارو اور وہ ( شکار کے جسم میں ) گھس جائے، تو جس کے اندر تیر پیوست ہو جائے اسے کھاؤ ۔
It was narrated that ‘Adi bin Hatim said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we are people who shoot (arrows).’ He said: ‘If you shoot and pierce (the game), then eat what you pierced.’”
