حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كَتَبَ الْإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، فَإِذَا قَتَلْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الْقِتْلَةَ، وَإِذَا ذَبَحْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الذَّبْحَ، وَلْيُحِدَّ أَحَدُكُمْ شَفْرَتَهُ، وَلْيُرِحْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ .
شداد بن اوس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بیشک اللہ عزوجل نے ہر چیز میں احسان ( رحم اور انصاف ) کو فرض قرار دیا ہے، پس جب تم قتل کرو تو اچھی طرح قتل کرو ( تاکہ مخلوق کو تکلیف نہ ہو ) اور جب ذبح کرو تو اچھی طرح ذبح کرو، اور چاہیئے کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک اپنی چھری کو تیز کر لے، اور اپنے ذبیحہ کو آرام پہنچائے ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Shaddad bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah has prescribed Al-Ihsan (proficiency) in all things. So if you kill, then kill well, and if you slaughter, then slaughter well. Let one of you sharpen his blade and spare suffering to the animal he slaughters.”
