حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ حَبْسِ الْمُحْرِمِ، فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ كُسِرَ أَوْ مَرِضَ أَوْ عَرَجَ، فَقَدْ حَلَّ وَعَلَيْهِ الْحَجُّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ ، قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَا: صَدَقَ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: فَوَجَدْتُهُ فِي جُزْءِ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ مَعْمَرًا، فَقَرَأَ عَلَيَّ، أَوْ قَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ.
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے غلام عبداللہ بن رافع کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حجاج بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہ سے محرم کے رک جانے کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: جس شخص کی ہڈی ٹوٹ گئی، یا بیمار ہو گیا، یا لنگڑا ہو گیا تو وہ حلال ہو گیا اور اس پر آئندہ سال حج ہے ۱؎۔ عکرمہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے یہ حدیث ابن عباس اور ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہم سے بیان کی تو انہوں نے کہا: حجاج نے سچ کہا۔ عبدالرزاق کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے یہ حدیث ہشام صاحب دستوائی کی کتاب میں ملی، تو اسے لے کر میں معمر کے پاس آیا، تو انہوں نے یہ حدیث مجھے پڑھ کر سنائی یا میں نے ا نہیں پڑھ کر سنائی
It was narrated from ‘Ikrimah, from ‘Abdullah bin Rafi’, the freed slave of Umm Salamah, that he said: “I asked Hajjaj bin ‘Amr about a Muhrim being prevented (from completing Hajj). He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever breaks a bone, falls sick or becomes lame, has exited Ihram, and he has to perform Hajj the following year.”

They asked: ‘Is it every year?’ He said: ‘No. If I had said yes, it would have become obligatory.’ Then the following was revealed: “O you who believe! Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.’” [5:101]
