حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا كَذَا وَكَذَا لِشَيْءٍ مَعْلُومٍ. قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: هُوَ الْحَقْلُ وَهُوَ بِلِسَانِ الْأَنْصَارِ الْمُحَاقَلَةُ
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی اپنی زمین اپنے بھائی کو مفت دے تو یہ اس کے لیے اس بات سے بہتر ہے کہ وہ اس سے اتنی اور اتنی یعنی کوئی متعین رقم لے۔ عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ یہی «حقل» ہے، اور انصار کی زبان میں اس کو محاقلہ کہتے ہیں۔
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If one of you were to lend his brother his land, it would be better for him than taking such and such rent for it.”
