حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: مَا رُئِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَأْكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا قَطُّ، وَلَا يَطَأُ عَقِبَيْهِ رَجُلَانِ .
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کبھی بھی ٹیک لگا کر کھاتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا گیا اور نہ کبھی آپ کے پیچھے پیچھے دو آدمی چلتے تھے۔
It was narrated from Shu'aib bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that his father said: The Messenger of Allah was never seen eating while reclining or making two men walk behind him. (Sahih) Other chains with the same meanings.
