حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغَرِيمٍ لِي، فَقَالَ لِي: الْزَمْهُ ، ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي آخِرَ النَّهَارِ، فَقَالَ: مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ يَا أَخَا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ .
ہرماس بن حبیب اپنے والد کے واسطے سے اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اپنے قرض دار کو لے کر آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کے پیچھے لگے رہو ، پھر آپ شام کو میرے پاس سے گزرے تو فرمایا: اے بنی تمیم کے بھائی! تمہارا قیدی کہاں ہے ۔
Hirmas bin Habib narrated from his father that his grandfather said: “I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with a man who owed me money, and he said to me: 'Keep him.' Then he passed by me at the end of the day and said: 'What did your prisoner do, O brother of Banu Tamim?' ”
