حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْأَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ هَذَا الْخَيْرَ خَزَائِنُ، وَلِتِلْكَ الْخَزَائِنِ مَفَاتِيحُ، فَطُوبَى لِعَبْدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِفْتَاحًا لِلْخَيْرِ مِغْلَاقًا لِلشَّرِّ، وَوَيْلٌ لِعَبْدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِفْتَاحًا لَلشَّرِّ مِغْلَاقًا لِلْخَيْرِ .
سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ خیر خزانے ہیں، اور ان خزانوں کی کنجیاں بھی ہیں، اس بندے کے لیے خوشخبری ہے جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے خیر کی کنجی، اور شر کا قفل بنا دیا ہو، اور اس بندے کے لیے ہلاکت ہے جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے شر کی کنجی، اور خیر کا قفل بنایا ہو ۔
It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa'd that: The Messenger of Allah said: This goodness contains many treasures, and for those there are keys. So glad tidings to the one whom Allah makes a key to good and a lock for evil, and woe to the one whom Allah makes a key to evil and a lock to good.

By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
