حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: جَاءَتْ هِنْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ لَا يُعْطِينِي مَا يَكْفِينِي وَوَلَدِي إِلَّا مَا أَخَذْتُ مِنْ مَالِهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ، فَقَالَ: خُذِي مَا يَكْفِيكِ وَوَلَدَكِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ہند رضی اللہ عنہا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئیں، اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ابوسفیان بخیل آدمی ہیں، مجھے اتنا نہیں دیتے جو مجھے اور میری اولاد کے لیے کافی ہو سوائے اس کے جو میں ان کی لاعلمی میں ان کے مال میں سے لے لوں ( اس کے بارے میں فرمائیں؟ ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مناسب انداز سے اتنا لے لو جو تمہیں اور تمہاری اولاد کے لیے کافی ہو ۔
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: 'Hind came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and he does not give me enough for me and my child, except for what I take from his wealth without him realizing.' He said: Take what is sufficient for you and your child, on a reasonable basis.'

He said: 'There is nothing wrong with being rich for one who has piety, but good health for one who has piety is better than riches, and being of good cheer is a blessing.
