حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَسْلَفَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَكْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا جَاءَتْ إِبِلُ الصَّدَقَةِ قَضَيْنَاكَ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اقْضِ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ بَكْرَهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمْ أَجِدْ إِلَّا رَبَاعِيًا فَصَاعِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبَرْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَعْطِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ النَّاسِ أَحْسَنُهُمْ قَضَاءً .

ابورافع رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص سے ایک جوان اونٹ کی بیع سلم کی یعنی اسے قرض کے طور پر لیا، اور فرمایا: جب صدقہ کے اونٹ آئیں گے تو ہم تمہارا اونٹ کا قرض ادا کر دیں گے ، چنانچہ جب صدقہ کے اونٹ آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابورافع! اس کے اونٹ کا قرض ادا کر دو ، ابورافع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے ڈھونڈا تو مجھے ویسا اونٹ نہیں ملا، سوائے ایک ایسے اونٹ کے جس نے اپنے سامنے کے چاروں دانت گرا رکھے تھے، جو اس کے اونٹ سے بہتر تھا، میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بتایا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسی کو دے دو کیونکہ لوگوں میں بہتر وہ ہے جو اپنے قرض کی ادائیگی میں بہتر ہو ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that: the Prophet (ﷺ) asked a man to give as a loan a young camel and said: “When the camels of the Sadaqah come, we will pay you back.” When the camels came, he said: O Abu Rafi', pay this man back for his Young camel. But all I could find was a seven-year-old camel or that which is better. I told the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: Give it to him, for the best of People are those who are best in repaying.

Hadith 2141

It was narrated from Mu'adh bin 'Abdullah bin Khubaib, from his father, that his paternal uncle said: We were sitting in a gathering, and the Prophet (ﷺ) came with traces of water on his head. One of us said to him: 'We see that you are of good cheer today.' He said: 'Yes, praise is to Allah.' Then he spoke to the people about being rich. He said: 'There is nothing wrong with being rich for one who has piety, but good health for one who has piety is better than riches, and being of good cheer is a blessing.
