حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَوْدِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍمَوْلَى أَبِي أَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاقْرَءُوهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَارْقُدُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ مَثَلَ الْقُرْآنِ وَمَنْ تَعَلَّمَهُ فَقَامَ بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَمَثَلِ جِرَابٍ مَحْشُوٍّ مِسْكًا يَفُوحُ رِيحُهُ كُلَّ مَكَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَثَلُ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَهُ فَرَقَدَ وَهُوَ فِي جَوْفِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كَمَثَلِ جِرَابٍ أُوكِيَ عَلَى مِسْكٍ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قرآن سیکھو اور اس کی تلاوت کرو، تب سوؤ کیونکہ قرآن اور اس کے سیکھنے والے اور رات کو قیام ( نماز تہجد ) میں قرآن پڑھنے والے کی مثال خوشبو بھری ہوئی تھیلی کی ہے جس کی خوشبو ہر طرف پھیل رہی ہو، اور اس شخص کی مثال جس نے قرآن سیکھا، مگر رات کو پڑھا نہیں ایسی خوشبو بھری تھیلی کی ہے جس کا منہ بندھا ہوا ہے ۔

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Learn the Qur'an, recite it and go to bed, for the likeness of the Qur'an and the one who learns it and acts upon it is that of a sack filled with musk, which spreads its fragrance everywhere. And the likeness of one who learns it then goes to bed with it in his heart is that of a sack that is tied up from which no fragrance comes out.'

Hadith 5

Abu Darda' said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us when we were speaking of poverty and how we feared it. He said: 'Is it poverty that you fear? By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, (the delights and luxuries of) this world will come to you in plenty, and nothing will cause the heart of anyone of you to deviate except that. By Allah, I am leaving you upon something like Bayda (white, bright, clear path) the night and day of which are the same.'
