حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْأَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ قَالَ: إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ كَاذِبًا، فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا لَمْ يَعُدْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ سَالِمًا .
بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص کہے اگر ایسا کروں تو اسلام سے بری ہوں، اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو ویسا ہی ہے جیسا اس نے کہا، اور اگر وہ اپنی بات میں سچا ہے تو بھی اسلام کی جانب صحیح سالم سے نہیں لوٹے گا ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Abdullah bin Buraidah that his father told that : the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever says: 'I have nothing to do with Islam,' if he is lying then he is as he said, and if he is telling the truth, his Islam will not be sound.

'Umar said: I never took an oath by them (i.e., my forefathers) myself nor narrating such words from anyone else.
