حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ سَأَلَتْ زَوْجَهَا الطَّلَاقَ فِي غَيْرِ مَا بَأْسٍ، فَحَرَامٌ عَلَيْهَا رَائِحَةُ الْجَنَّةِ .
ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کسی عورت نے اپنے شوہر سے بغیر کسی ایسی تکلیف کے جو طلاق لینے پر مجبور کرے طلاق کا مطالبہ کیا، تو اس پہ جنت کی خوشبو حرام ہے ۔
It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Any woman who asks her husband for a divorce when it is not absolutely necessary, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden to her.'

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: I divorced my wife when she was menstruating. This is the waiting period that Allah has enjoined.'
