حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ الْعِجْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْعَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ الْجَوْنِ تَعَوَّذَتْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ أُدْخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ عُذْتِ بِمُعَاذٍ، فَطَلَّقَهَا، وَأَمَرَ أُسَامَةَ، أَوْ أَنَسًا فَمَتَّعَهَا بِثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ رَازِقِيَّةٍ .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ جب عمرہ بنت جون رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس لائی گئی تو اس نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( اللہ کی ) پناہ مانگی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو نے ایسی ہستی کی پناہ مانگی جس کی پناہ مانگی جاتی ہے ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے طلاق دے دی، اور اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ یا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا تو انہوں نے اسے سفید کتان کے تین کپڑے دیئے۔
It was narrated from 'Aishah that: 'Amrah bint Jawn sought refuge.with Allah from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when she was brought to him (as a bride) He said: You have sought refuge with Him in Whom refuge is sought. So he divorced her and told Usamah or Anas to give her, a gift of three garments of white flax.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: I divorced my wife when she was menstruating. This is the waiting period that Allah has enjoined.'
